PARADIGMA PENELITIAN PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA: TINJAUAN TEORITIS DAN IMPLIKASINYA DALAM PARKTIK PEMBELAJARAN

Abstract


Pendidikan matematika menghadapi tantangan kompleks, mulai dari rendahnya hasil belajar hingga kesenjangan akses, yang membutuhkan pendekatan penelitian berparadigma beragam. Artikel ini menganalisis empat paradigma penelitian (positivistik, konstruktivis, pragmatik, dan kritis) serta implikasinya dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian menggunakan metode systematic literature review dengan menganalisis 25 sumber terpilih dari jurnal internasional terindeks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) setiap paradigma memberikan kontribusi unik, dengan positivistik unggul dalam evaluasi program, konstruktivis dalam pengembangan konsep, pragmatik dalam solusi praktis, dan kritis dalam mengatasi ketidakadilan; (2) integrasi paradigma menghasilkan pendekatan lebih holistik; (3) tantangan utama terletak pada adaptasi paradigma dalam konteks lokal. Temuan ini merekomendasikan pendekatan penelitian pluralistik yang memadukan kekuatan berbagai paradigma untuk meningkatkan relevansi dan dampak penelitian pendidikan matematika.
