ISLAMIC SCHOOLS IN FACING GLOBAL CHALLENGES

Abstract

Islamic education in the era of globalization faces a variety of complex and diverse challenges, which require adaptation and reform to remain relevant and effective. Globalization has a significant impact, both positive and negative, on Islamic education, which must be faced by Islamic educational institutions, including Islamic schools. The rapid development of information technology has changed the way of learning and teaching. Islamic schools need to integrate technology in the curriculum to prepare students for an increasingly digital world, however, this challenge also creates the risk of spreading unhelpful information, such as pornography and radicalization, which can damage the morale of the younger generation.
