ISLAMIC EDUCATION REVIEW OF SELF PREVENTION TECHNIQUES FROM NEGATIVE EFFECTS CONSEQUENCES OF BULLYING

Abstract


The article from the results of this study aims to determine self-prevention techniques for individual students to be able to prevent themselves from bullying and avoid the negative effects of bullying. Using qualitative methods, researchers obtained data with interview techniques, analyzed with data reduction, display and conclusions. Testing the validity of the data with triangulation techniques and asking for the opinion of colleagues so that the results obtained that the self-prevention techniques given by the teacher include; 1) studying moral books, 2) forgiving each other, 3) accelerating individual counseling, 4) guiding new students done by the teacher, 5) filling positive sentences into the subconscious, 6) instilling religious values after learning language in the morning, including values ; aqidah, mutual need, democracy, equality, and honesty and 7) performing cognitive desputation techniques. The unique finding of this study is that researcher found a  student with good self-concept and capacity for self-awareness so the student ignored the negative effects of bullying.
